Opening up the wound again I know, but I've decided I want this Tegaki doodle of Pipkin in my gallery.
I only knew him for a day and a bit but god was I lucky. I'd walk in the room and there would be little Pipkins eyes glinting in the shade of his box followed by his happy little chirps. He'd cuddle into my hand, tuck his little face away and snuggle down to sleep. He frightened me with his hungry chirp when I myself had dropped off with the little loud mouth cupped in my hands. Climbing back up my arm when he didn't want to go back into his carry case. Running to hide in the crook of my arm.
It felt so natural, me and him, messing about, him flapping his tiny wings and wiping any food he slopped off of his beak on my hand. Me chasing the little thing over my shoulder when he decided that sitting in my hand was pretty boring after all.
anyway... i forgot to tell smth the last time.. i'm not too sure about the whole cat food thing... but i do know this, most or at least those specialized in exotic lizards/spiders etcs... sell live crickets, you can feed him that, don't kill them though... just put them in a big box, where he can hunt them, its good for he's development

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

And when the last fish has died,
We'll realise that we can't eat money.
